BBG Food Business Unit, as the group’s main business model, established the first chain store in the South Jiefang Road, Xiangtan city, Hunan province in 1995.

In the past 20 years, BBG vigorously captured the opportunities and channeled great energy to develop its chain-store operations through learning and application of advanced management and marketing measures at home and abroad. By the end of April 2015, BBG Food Business Unit boasted two main business models-“Hyper-mart” and “Super-mart”. It owned 160 business branches across a number of regions, including Hunan, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Sichuan, and Chongqing, which covered an area of almost 600,000 square meters and reached annual sales of more than 7 billion RMB.
